ICU Nurse

Qualifications:

  • RVN

Amy qualified in 2017 whilst practicing in a combined orthopaedic referral and first opinion practice. During her first few years of nursing she developed an interest in emergency and critical care which led her to carry out her certificate in this specific discipline, to gain more knowledge and experience. Amy then took a break from studying and had two boys. Once settled back in practice Amy decided to take the leap into a bigger referral hospital leading her to Bristol Veterinary Specialists in April 2023, she has taken on the role of one of our ICU nurses.

Amy enjoys being involved in the complex nursing of critical patients and the reward of watching them improve. She enjoys working alongside different members of the veterinary team to reach the best outcome for her patients and is looking forward to new challenges and further learning.
