Anaesthesia and Analgesia

Overview

All patients are treated as individuals to ensure that care is tailored to meet their needs. We have a full suite of monitoring equipment to ensure that physiological parameters are maintained within normal limits during anaesthesia and sedation, promoting a fast recovery from anaesthesia and surgery.

Optimising peri-operative pain management is a key goal of our service, to ensure that animals have, as far as possible, a pain-free experience while undergoing treatment with us.

We also offer a service to help with the management of chronic pain, using pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods, such as acupuncture, in challenging cases.
