Chara graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2017 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. After relocating to the UK, she gained five years’ experience working in first-opinion veterinary practices, where her passion for emergency and critical care (ECC) began to flourish. In 2022, Chara earned a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP) in ECC from the University of Liverpool to deepen her expertise.
In 2023, Chara completed a rotating internship at the University of Bristol, where she developed a keen interest in anaesthesia. This newfound passion led her to join BVS in 2024 as an Anaesthesia Intern, where she is dedicated to advancing her career in anaesthesia and analgesia. While she enjoys all aspects of her discipline, she is particularly interested in the anaesthetic management of critically ill patients.
Outside of her professional life, Chara enjoys hiking, climbing, and spending time with her cat, Amira. When she’s not outdoors, she can often be found relaxing with a good Netflix series.
