Vicki qualified in 2005. She has been very fortunate to work within referrals for the past 12 years, with some truly exceptional people and wonderful patients.

Her first taste of referral work came from joining an orthopaedic team, spending lots of time in theatre before moving on to ophthalmology. She enjoyed the variety of cases ophthalmology provided, mainly small animal based, with the occasional penguin chucked in for good measure! – This re-lit her passion for nursing outside of anaesthesia and theatres. Vicki then moved on to help develop a small internal medicine department at Highcroft Veterinary Referrals preparing her for her new role at BVS.

Working in a Referral practice provides her with both daily challenges and interest. There is always something new to learn and share. She has been in practice for 20+ years and is still amazed by our clients’ dedication to their beloved companions and the strength and resilience our patients display. She is very grateful to be able to work alongside people who share the same ethos as herself – to provide the best care for our patients.
