Alexandra moved to the UK from Cape Town in September 2018 and graduated from the University of Bristol in 2022 with an honours degree in Veterinary Nursing and Bioveterinary Science. During university she developed a passion for anaesthesia and thoroughly enjoyed the anaesthesia rotation in third year. After graduating, Alexandra worked at her placement practice for a year where they helped her gain confidence in all nursing skills, especially in surgery and anaesthesia.
In July 2023, she made the move to Highcroft Referrals (now BVS) to develop her skills in anaesthesia. She enjoys being part of a great team and caring for the patients during their procedures.
