Ben qualified from Cardiff University in 2017 with 2:1 in BSc (Hons) Radiotherapy & Oncology. He completed a MSc in On-treatment Review in Radiotherapy in January 2022 from University of West England. He has also completed The Institute of Leadership & Management (iLM) Pathway Health Leadership & Management Development Programme in June 2022.
Having worked across multiple NHS and independent hospitals Ben has developed a vast understanding of all parts of the radiotherapy pathway including CT planning, SABR, SXR, Clarity, TBI treatment and even proton beam therapy (PBT), where Ben was Lead Proton Radiographer where he worked previously. Ben was one of the first radiographers in the country to successfully treat lung cancer patients using proton beam therapy in the private sector. Ben is competent with all radiotherapy techniques within humans and has now made the switch to put his skills into practice within the veterinary world.
