Caroline graduated from Hartpury College in 2010 with a Batchelors degree in Veterinary Nursing Science. She joined Highcroft in 2009, on placement, and enjoyed the team and the caseload so much that she became a permanent member of the team. After qualifying, Caroline went on to develop a love of surgery, particularly anaesthesia, and in 2016 gained her nursing certificate in Anaesthesia (NCert). She then went on to become deputy referral nurse manager at Highcroft Referrals.

Caroline was diagnosed with remitting, relapsing Multiple sclerosis in 2017 and after having her daughter is now a wheelchair user, so has had to adapt her role. She is hugely excited to be taking on the new challenge of referral coordinator, where she will get to use her experience in nursing and in referral practice of over 10 years. This will help to develop our services and be part of making our referral service the highest standard possible.
