Caroline Smith

Caroline joined Bristol Vet Specialists in 2024 working as a dermatology clinician. Prior to joining she was working as clinical director of a large veterinary group in South Wales setting up a dermatology referral service within the group and for surrounding clinics. During this time she ran quality improvement projects such as a clinical audit in ear cytology and training programs for veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses in the region. She obtained her post graduate certificate in veterinary dermatology in 2019 and has been an active member of the British Veterinary Dermatology Study Group and the European Society of Veterinary Dermatology. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary dermatology, but particularly loves seeing how much it is possible to improve the quality of life of patients with chronic skin disease.
