Dan joined the Bristol Vet Specialists/Highcroft Referrals team in 2021 as the Dermatology Nurse having previously worked in another small animal referral hospital for six years.
Dan achieved his BSAVA Dermatology nursing award and accredited certificate in animal nutrition in 2019 and in 2023, he achieved his MSc degree in animal nutrition after three years.
In 2025 he achieved his specialist nurse qualification in Dermatology making him the very first and only veterinary nurse in the UK and Europe to achieve this qualification!
Dan enjoys intradermal skin testing and finds video otoendoscopy particularly interesting in complex cases. He is particularly interested in managing patients with multi-resistant bacterial infections and seeing those patients improve.
