Georgia joined Highcroft Veterinary Group as a student nurse in 2016. She qualified in 2018 and continued to work at the general practice hospital where she developed an interest in surgical nursing. In order to pursue this further, Georgia moved into referral nursing in March 2021 as a rotating nurse, and worked her way into a managerial role leading the hospital’s Patient Care Assistant team within the surgical wards. 

Georgia has also been a clinical coach, student mentor and taken certificates in BVNA oral care and RVC anaesthesia and analgesia.

Georgia has an interest in orthopaedics and canine surgical nursing, including behaviour. She is currently working to help the practice become part of The Dog Friendly Clinic Scheme. She would love to develop and undertake training in animal behaviour, physiotherapy and orthopaedics.
