Julie graduated from Liege University in 2006. After some time in general practice, she completed a rotating internship in a referral hospital in Bordeaux, where she then stayed to work as an assistant in the Internal Medicine department. During this time, she developed a growing interest in Oncology. She moved to the UK in 2014 to specialise in this field. She undertook a specialised internship followed by a 3-year residency program in Medical Oncology and became a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology) in 2019. She worked in different referral centres in the UK before joining BVS in March 2024.
Julie has a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of round cell tumours and anal sac gland adenocarcinomas. In her spare time, she enjoys different sports and music and spoils her elderly rescued Chihuahua, Chilli Pepper.
