Lauryn graduated from Hartpury University in 2024 with a BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Nursing. She began her career in a referral hospital specialising in orthopaedics and neurology, where she worked as an anaesthesia nurse and quickly developed a passion for this field.
Since joining BVS, Lauryn has expanded her knowledge across a variety of specialities and continues to grow her skills in her role as an anaesthesia nurse. She particularly enjoys the constant learning and challenges the job brings, with anaesthesia continually testing her knowledge and keeping her on her toes.
Growing up on her family farm, Lauryn always knew she wanted to work with animals. She found her calling in veterinary nursing and wouldn’t change it for the world.
Outside of work, Lauryn spends her time helping on the family farm, caring for horses, sheep, pigs, and chickens. She also enjoys horse riding, exploring the Brecon Beacons on walks with Lady her beagle, she also enjoys a good book to unwind after a long day at work.
