Nerea graduated from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain, in 2020. Following graduation, she worked in mixed practice in Northern Ireland and small animal practice in Wales and England before completing a rotating internship and an oncology internship. She joined Bristol Vet Specialists as an Oncology Intern in July.
Nerea has a strong interest in veterinary clinical oncology and research and has completed a GP Certificate in Oncology. She hopes to pursue an oncology residency in the future to further expand her knowledge and skills in the field.
