  • International Society of Feline Medicine certificate in feline nursing
  • ISVPS nurses certificate (NCert) in medical nursing

Sam studied to become a nurse (qualifying in 2018) after working in a veterinary practice from the age of 14, developing a strong desire to deliver excellent patient care. After finding a passion for medicine, Sam moved into a referral internal medicine role where she stayed for 5 years, where her interest in oncology took flight, before moving to full time oncology referrals at BVS in May 2024.  ‘I love working amongst like minded people who strive to deliver the very best in veterinary care, working together to provide our patients and care givers with everything we can to maintain a great quality of life for our patients in the face of illness’

Sam has a ginger cat called Rhubarb whom she adores, although he cares more for his food! In her spare time, she enjoys various types of exercise and loves being outside in nature and bird watching.
